Hawks in the Homeroom…

Our programming is designed to be integrated into your existing curriculum & meet the Michigan science standard(s) for your grade.

Each learning unit adheres to a 3-step method for maximum immersion & content retention

  • Step 1: Pre-program foundation worksheet or activity

    • This worksheet/activity introduces the custom theme of your unit & provides a base-knowledge of the content delivered in our live presentation. For example:

      • What is a raptor?

      • Vocabulary words

      • Opportunity to prepare questions

  • Step 2: Live Raptor Presentation!

    • Our live online presentation includes 1 or more of our Raptor Ambassadors who help us communicate the theme of your unit. This also provides students the opportunity to get far closer to our ambassador(s) than otherwise possible.

    • Our live online program consists of a 40 minute presentation & an additional 15-20 minutes for Q&A

    • These sessions utilize Zoom, Google Classroom, or any other choice of video conference platform.

  • Step 3: Post-program immersion worksheet or activity

    • This worksheet/activity delves deeper into the detail & connections of your unit, as well as solidifies the information covered in steps 1 & 2 for maximum retention.
